Celebrating Classical Beauty: 2025 NTD Global Realist Portrait Oil Painting Competition

We’re excited to share the launch of the 7th NTD Global Realist Portrait Oil Painting Competition, a prestigious international event dedicated to preserving the values of classical realism. This year’s theme continues to honor “purity, goodness, and beauty,” inviting artists from around the world to express timeless human values through oil portraiture.

This competition is more than a showcase—it's a revival of traditional techniques and moral clarity in art. Artists are asked to submit original oil-on-canvas portraits that reflect depth, light, and inner virtue. No digital or AI-generated work is accepted, ensuring the purity of hand-crafted artistry.

📅 Important Dates:

• Registration Deadline: July 31, 2025

• Finalist Notification: August 10, 2025

• Original Artwork Due: September 10, 2025

• Exhibition & Awards in NYC: January 2026

All selected works will be exhibited in New York City, with select pieces included in a post-exhibition auction—offering artists international exposure and recognition.

🖌 Entry Guidelines:

• Original oil portraits only (on canvas)

• No photographic transfers or digital art

• Artists may submit up to 6 entries ($80 entry fee)

• Each submission includes an image, brief bio, statement, and optional creation video
